A nationwide man & van you can actually rely on

Firs1 Removals started for one reason: too many people we knew were getting messed about by no-shows, surprise charges and movers who didn’t care. We thought we could do better — turn up on time, treat your stuff like it’s ours, and quote a fair price up front.

Today we run modern Iveco Luton vans across the UK, helping families move home, students kit out their flats, and small businesses relocate without losing a working day.

Are you insured?

Yes — we carry both goods-in-transit and public liability insurance on every job, at no extra cost to you. Documents available on request.

How much do you charge?

Every job gets a clear, all-inclusive quote up front — no hourly meters, no surprise fuel charges. Send us the details and we’ll come back within the hour with a fair fixed price.

What size van do you use?

We run modern Iveco Luton vans (the big ones with the high box and tail-lift) — comfortably enough for a 1- or 2-bed flat in one trip, and ideal for awkward items like sofas and double mattresses.

Do you cover my area?

Yes — we cover the whole of the UK. Based in Manchester, we travel anywhere: London, Liverpool, Birmingham, Leeds, Edinburgh and beyond. Local moves and long-distance relocations all welcome.

Can you help with packing?

Yes — full packing, part packing or just supplying boxes and bubble wrap at trade prices. We’ll deliver materials free with any booked move.
